Antonio Liccardo is a nature photographer and geologist with doctorate in natural sciences. He has published six books connected to the issues of geology, mineralogy, nature, history of mining and geotourism. He has phtographed in ten countries and thirteen brazilian states. His recent works are connected to geotourism and geoconservation in some parts of Brazil. He has also coordinated and accomplished several international gescientific excursions and has developed, in collaboration with MINEROPAR, researches and geotouristic treks in Paraná State. In Minas Gerais State he participates in researches of squared stone along the Estrada Real (Royal Road) and researches in gemstones.
